Badri Narasimhan

Badri Narasimhan is the Founder & CEO of Rulester LLC. Before creating Rulester, Badri was the COO of an angel-funded Chicago-area startup in new media. Prior to that, Badri was responsible for the growth and profitability of an insurance claims software product line for Insurity Inc., a Choicepoint subsidiary. Choicepoint was subsequently acquired by Lexis-Nexis.

At Choicepoint, the leader in insurance risk benchmarking, Badri also created from ground up, a comparative analytics product platform for the property and casualty insurance industry. Other responsibilities in his six year tenure at Choicepoint included membership in the Senior Leadership Team, merger & acquisitions due diligence, contract negotiations and process improvement initiatives.

Prior to Choicepoint, Badri created the relationship marketing analytics data warehouse at CVS Pharmacy from the ground up. Still in use today, with 60 million members, this comparative analytics and benchmarking platform enables the Fortune 100 retailer to benchmark and market to individuals by understanding their buying behavior using analytics. Additional responsibilities at CVS also included data warehousing and support of the systems behind the largest chain drug pharmacy in the country.

Prior to CVS Pharmacy, Badri spent five years at a manufacturing company, building the software and analytics platform to benchmark and compare dealer financials. Other relevant experience includes data warehouse product creation at an energy demand analytics company and the creation of a media analytics platform at a leading pay-for-performance marketing company.

Badri is the valedictorian and Helen O’Brien scholar at Babson College’s MBA program. Prior to his MBA, he also completed a dual Masters program in Engineering and Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives with his wife and son in Chicago.

Rulester is Badri’s sixth analytics endeavor. All five prior platforms were completed and rolled into production use with paying customers.

Jeff Bzdawka

Jeff is the Co-Founder and Chief Software Architect of Rulester LLC. Before joining Rulester, Jeff was the CEO of Burning Beacon Inc., a web development firm where he built multiple internet applications for clients in the Chicago area. He has personally been the architect for all of Rulester's products from their inception. Jeff was nominated as a winner in the "IL 50 for the Future" award, recognizing him as one of the 50 in the State who holds promise to build the technology for the future. Jeff is a graduate of DePaul University with a major Computer Science.
